I made this quilt, called "Mustang Spirit" for my son. The center block has a digitized embroidered replica of his own car. It took 2 1/2 days to get that right. There are "ghost mustangs" running around the border. Designed on EQ6.
How original Carla, bet your son loved it. Good job!!
Nice job, Carla!
carls, great quilt, thanks for posting it. gini
I love this idea. I'm sure your son loved it. Very nice job.
Beautiful quilt - thanks for sharing. I purchase EQ6 but have not had a chance to work with it yet. You have given me some motivation to learn the program.
That's great :-) I'm sure your son loves being able to see his car every time he looks at this cool quilt! (I love the original Mustangs myself.)
Very original Carla. Nice quilt and I am sure your son loved it.
Beautiful quilt Carla. Thanks for sharing. My DH really likes it.
What a great idea and your son still has his car in fabric and thread long after the original is
great design and great quilt. I remember when they first came out. My dad worked for a ford dealership and had special permission to bring one home a day early. He drove us to school in that fire engine red mustang. It turned a lot of heads. They were quite the thing when they first came out. I had a 68 mustang for a while after college. It served me well.
Great idea you came up with. I love it! Your son must be thrilled getting such a wonderful gift.
