"Golfing Frenzy" by Nana

I made this quilt for one of my son-in-laws for Christmas 2009.  He loves golf....playing and watching.  In the close up shot you can see one of the many words that I "wrote" on the quilt as I quilted.

Oh Nana,

You do such beautiful work. Want to try free motion, but it looks a bit intimidating.  I am still a stitch-in-the-ditch quilter. Your son-in-law is going to love it.

Neat how you wrote words in the stitching!!
