Ring Toss for my oldest daughter:
Nana, this is great! I love all the rings of color on a white background - the color "pops" but isn't overwhelming (I tend to shy from really bright fabrics). Are the rings appliqued or sewn curves? Either way, it's such a fun and well-done quilt.
Wow Nana! This is beautiful. It looks very difficult. I love the colors....
Wow, that is very neat! Where did you get the pattern for this quilt, and where could I buy it?
Nana this is great. I love the fabrics. Reminds me of summer.
The pattern for this came from connecting threads. I am not sure if it still available. The circles are appliqued to the background. I about pulled my hair out before I finished...lol
Love your quilt. I like doing some applique, but yeah, wow! Great job!
nana, if this is an example of your quilts, keep it up. they make wigs for hair loss. gini
Nana -I love this quilt each time I see it... It is so light and airy - a beautiful quilt to make you smile on a dreary day and you did a great job! Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful talent with all of us!
I can't believe that is applique! It looks like it is part of the fabric. You did a wonderful job. Who is the lucky recipient?
Very nice quilt, great job! I tend to shy away from circles.......
Nana Great job, must of taken you forever to do this. I wish I had the time and could do just half as well as all of you guys do!
Rose from Monongahela
Very pretty! I'll bet your daughter loves the colors! I can't wait to learn to do applique!
"Ring Toss" is a great looking quilt! Did it take long to complete?
OOOhhhhh, I love this quilt!!!
very cool quilt..just love circles
Thank you everyone. It took about 6months start to finish but I kept putting it aside and doing something else because all those circles about drove me crazy. I would go weeks at a time and not work on it at all.
Did you use a pattern? Can you share where you got the pattern if you used one? It's a lovely quilt, I completely understand about setting it aside from time to time. We get a bit anxious to get them done, but often get bored along the way.
whoops, now I read all the entries and see you mentioned that the pattern came from Connecting Threads, thank you.
Great contemporary pattern and colors that look fresh but don't overwhelm. Keep up the good work!!!
Love the use of color and the circles. It makes me want to go make one. Nice job! THANKS FOR THE INSPIRATION
Beautiful quilt, I am sure your daughter is going to love it. Thanks for sharing.
