Wow Leah Your quilt is beautiful and I absolutely love your useage of fall colors...
Beautiful Leah.
Very nice, I like the bits of blue color. Like adding spice to food.
Wow!!! I now have to go shopping, so I can make this quilt.
Thanks, Linda
Beautiful fall colors. You did an excellent job. Sounds like a fun Thanksgiving!
Beautiful quilt/ tablecloth Leah! Look at all the half square triangles you had to make. Wow, and your fabrics are gorgeous. Thanks for sharing.
Leah, it's lovely! I like the way you varied the placement of the blocks so the small brown triangles are all over - nice balance of color!
Leah--
Your "Autumn Bounty" will make a beautiful Thanksgiving tablecloth. Your sister is a very lucky lady and you, a thoughtful sister
I love the idea of the tablecloth - I use a table topper as a rug in my kitchen. It washes and wears wonderfully and allowed me to get the perfect colors. You do have to put "slip stop" under for safety. I use the "rubbery" shelf liner - it is the perfect width and much less costly than rug "slip stop".
Leah,
Beautiful.
Thank you everyone! I really enjoyed making this quilt and I love how it turned out!
Seeing that I have six sisters, this REALLY means that I would have to make a lot of triangle cuts. But I think Barbara, Becky, Louisa, Rita, Charlotte and Roberta would appreciate each one of them. Even the three sister-in-laws would appreciate a gift like this!
This is gorgeous Leah. So vibrant. Great job.
That quilt is beautiful. Loved the pattern and the way all the colors came together.
Leah, so beautiful! Great choice in fabrics. Where did you find the pattern? I'll bet you had fun making all those half-square triangles. Judy will appreciate your efforts in that regard!
I love fall colors and the quilt is beautiful.
This pattern came out of a magazine. I will try and find the issue and post
The magazine that this quilt came from is The Quilter's Magazine November 2009.
I just joined today and was looking at the quilts, WOW, I love this. I love autum colors and anything with leaves and orange. You did an outstanding job.
Wow! How beautiful. I love the fabrics, especially the fabric in the center of the blocks. You did a great job with your points!
