This quilt looks so soft and RESTFUL - I think I could handle making just a few Grandmothers flowers! - Have always loved them but didn't think I would finish a WHOLE QUILT of them... Can't wait for the pattern to be out!

Absolutely adore this quilt !   It uses hexagons but, just the right amount....not enough to get discouraged.  And I love the soft colors and the fact that it's so cheerful !   Just makes me smile to look at it.   You say it will be coming out in an upcoming issue of Love of Quilting magazine.......will there be options for a queen size quilt???????   (I hope, I hope, I hope)   The only problem I see, in so far as myself, I frequently fall in love with the total package including the fabric but by the time the magazine comes out the fabric is long gone and I can never find anything even close to those illustrated.

Love this quilt!  Actually saw it on F&P over the weekend.  It inspired me to get out some of the paper piecing patterns that I've had forever and attempt it and guess what? I loved it!  Once I finally got the hang of it, I was hooked.  I used my add-a-quarter ruler for the first time also and it works like a charm with this technique.  My project list just doubled! Which F&P magazine did this appear in?  This one will definitely go on my to-do list!
