As you can see, I've been busy trying to finish a few UFOs over the past few weeks.  Since the weather has been a bit on the cool side, finishing the binding on this sampler quilt was a great and cozy way to stay warm!   This is actually my very first quilt to piece but my third one to completely finish.  Two of my friends and I made samplers in the spring of 2010 as a way of learning how to make quilts.  My sampler had sat in my sewing room since then patiently waiting for me to "get around to" putting the finishing touches on it.

This photo shows the terrific machine quilting by my friend, Millie.  I just love how it turned out!!!

Here's another one of my UFOs.  This baby quilt was made for a pregnancy help center that our church supports.  I started piecing  this one before Christmas but have just now completed it.

So, that's two of my projects completed!  I have two more baby quilts I'm working on and will start making quilts for each of my children soon!

Nonnie, your quilts are beautiful.  I love your sampler.  It's so warm and cozy looking.  The quilting is exquisite! You're lucky to have a Millie as a friend.
