I have always wanted to start a blog but I was never sure about how to go about it so I guess I will just jump right in. I haven't been quilting long (about 6 months) and I am completely self taught. I have finished 2 king size quilts so far and I am pretty proud of them.

Quilting has become quite the passion and I try to work at least a few minutes on something related to quilting each night. I work full time as a case manager for a non-profit and travel way to much for work so sometimes my quilting attempts are frutal since I can't sew by hand and can't take my trusty sidekick with me. She won't fit in my suitcase. LOL  I really need to give her a name but I just haven't found the right one. I am sure her true personality will come out soon and the perfect name will just jump out at me.

I will try to write at least once a week to keep you updated on all my adventures. Right now I am in the middle of 3 projects and need to finished at least one before getting into another. I am working on a BOM from my LQS, Mystery Quilt #4 and a quilt for my daughter that didn't have a pattern, just her vision. Oh and I am taking a Log Cabin course this weekend. So much for finishing up something before I move onto another.

'Til next time,

Cheri
