Do you believe in luck? If so, you may be thinking that today is Bad Luck - Friday the 13th & all. But, today is my first day off since the beginning of the month. And, a day off is a day to do something quilty. Today, I am finalizing last minute items for an MQN meeting tomorrow. Our small group will be meeting at the local quilt shop, Common Threads, for a meeting and shop demos. We will travel to a local library for a potluck lunch followed by speaker, Krista Prout, on Women of the Civil War with a trunk show of quilts. Ladies gathering to quilt has been a longstanding tradition in the country and it is one of the traditions that bind us together as a community. Tomorrow will be a great day!
