These are 2 hand towels and 2 dish towels that I made for Halloween.  My DH has been wanting embroidered towels ever since I purchased the new embroidery machine.

Just an Update

Gee it doesn't seem possible that it has been so long since I wrote the first blog post.   Either that or my math was really bad when I was blogging...LOL>  I have been quilting almost 7yrs now and loving every minute.   I have really gotten interested in designing my own quilts as opposed to using patterns.   I still do lots of patterns but the ones I love the most are the ones that I do the designing as well as the constructing.   Hope everyone has a great quilting day.

Picnic Time
Sat, May 29 2010 9:54 AM

I made this quilt for my DD and her family.  They love to picnic and asked for a quilt to use.  DD designed the quilt and then I had to figure out how to make the design work.  I think they will make lots of memories with this one..

This quilt was made for my youngest DD for Christmas.  She and her sister have this ongoing saying between them that if the shoe fits buy it in every color.  When I found this Pam Bono pattern I just had to make it for at least one of them  It is a fun pattern and uses lots of scraps.  Fun except for the bajillion HSTs...but I got pretty good at them by the time I was done...lol.  Doing the button embellishments was a lot of fun too.  Really enjoyed this one.

This is a quilt that I made for my oldest DD for Christmas.  She and her Mama used to watch the Wizard of Oz together every fall.  It became a ritual with them.  When she lost her Mama she had a very hard time coping.  It has been 10yrs now and this quilt was made in memory of the times they shared.  It started out to be a lap quilt and ended up 100x126.  I just couldn't quit adding characters...lol

This is the quilt that I made for one of my son-in-laws for Christmas 2009.  He is a huge golf fan and loves playing golf every chance he gets.

And a close up to show the quilting and words that are quilted onto the quilt.
