Blog finished at last!
I think I'm finished at last with the set-up of my.sewingroom's blog! Now I can concentrate on finishing the quilt that shows in the blog. It's for my 7th grandchild, Cora Elise who was born on Sept. 12. Since I can't drive anymore, I am unable to go see her like everyone else. I've seen lots of photos on Facebook. She's a real cutie. Just like her big sister, Hanna and big brother, Quinn. My prayers today have been that my son will maybe someday find time to bring his children to see their grandma. That is in God's hands.
So tomorrow I finish Cora's quilt. Then I have the rest of the week to cut projects out. I like to take 1 or 2 days to cut and get it over with. Then my back and shoulders can rest. I set easier projects by my machine in my bedroom for nights when I can't sleep. The rest stay in my sewing room and I tackle them during the day and where I have plenty of space to spread out. I don't know about you quilters out there, but I probably have 6 quilts already cut and just haven't gotten around to putting them together yet. I also have a few in various stages of being put together and got side tracked and never got back to them....you know those UFO's. One of these days I need to throw them all in a pile and just start at the top and work my way down. When I use to work and my desk got out of control, I would throw everything in a big pile and start at the top and work my way down....I'd go in on a Saturday to do that of course.
That's about it for today, folks. I'm exhausted. Been fighting a bad cough for over a week. You all take care.
