Friday, May 28... It's offically summer.  I kicked it off by having a birthday!  Two priorities for this wonderful time off - bike most every morning, and sew!  I plan on working my way through a bit of my stash.  Let's see how many tubs, shelves, etc. I can clear, and how many finished products I can come up with!

So far so good.  I finished a little sumthin'sumthin' for a surprise for a friend who is moving away.  Time for lunch, then on to project two!
Saturday, May 29... After a fast bike ride, I wrapped up an acorn themed crazy patch vest for a friend, and presented it to her at a farewell party this afternoon.  She was thrilled!  I am so glad I did it for her.

Next on the agenda is a blue and yellow strip pieced quilt that I admit was a purchase from two summers ago, as a part of a local quilt shop summer activity.  I also have a batik quilt mounted on the frame, but need to get thread for it.  Does that count as a purchase?  No, only tools to keep me working through my stash.
Sunday, May 30... the strip sets are done and ready to be made into blocks.  And my husband and I enjoyed a nice bike ride through the park.  Fun!
