What in the world is a Chibi?

I didn't know either so I went to Google and found this:

A term used by anime/manga fans to referr to small and detailless characters. "Chibi" characters are often used to represent a form of cuteness. It can also be used to indicate small characters.

But for our purposes it's an adorable quilt design thata's easy to make and perfect for kids or teens!

The whimsical animal characters are sure to make this a hit with the youngsters in your life. A special note for families with teenage or pre-teen girls: if you’ve ever heard the words “manga” or “animé” (Japanese-style cartoons), show them this pattern and wait for the reaction!
