Hi Quilters!
It's that time of year again!

The leaves are starting to put on their autumn colors and the air has a decidely bit of bite to it. While the sun is warm enough, the air is chilly. The apples are starting to fall, the pumpkins are getting bigger, and with the ferns and wildflowers in the woods, dying, you can see deeper and deeper into the woods. The deer are on the move, and the bear tracks are becoming more and more visible. Yup! Winter's coming. Tonight will likely bring the last canner load of tomatoes and while there hasn't been a frost yet, that will come soon enough.

What's New In Our Store....

Willow Bay Naturals Hand and Body Lotion

Willow Bay Naturals Hand & Body Lotion was specially formulated for dry, sensitive, eczema prone skin. It is made with all natural vegetable oils and a paraben free preservative.
The lotion is still handmade in small batches and, as with all of their products, is never tested on animals. The unscented lotion is great for those with very sensitive skin, eczema or psoriasis. Even their scented lotions are so gentle, many people who could never use a scented lotion before are able to use them.
What is a Lotion Candle? Also called a Massage Candle, our Lotion Candles are multi-purpose. Four uses all in one candle - scented candle, warm massage oil, cuticle dip, or moisturizing lotion. Our Lotion Candles are made with pure cosmetic grade soy wax blended with skin loving oils and butters and are scented with high quality, body safe, phthalate free fragrance oil or essential oils. Comes in an 8 oz tin.

Check out our blog for a giveaway on these fantastic lotions!

We've added quite a few new items this week.

Reader's Hints, Tips and Techniques....

When making blocks of the month or blocks from scraps that will later be put together to make a quilt, I store them in a pizza box! I went to the local pizza house and asked if I could have a couple of empty pizza boxes (I was willing to pay for them). They gave me four for free. Works out great and my blocks are laid flat for storage until I'm ready to use them....Muriel

If you have a friend ( or yourself ) who has horses, the big zippered bags with handles that the winter blankets come in are great for storing leftover batting. They are square and can sit in a corner until you can sew the pieces together with your walking foot later....Melinda
