A Day Late Due To Internet and Storm issues.

Alaska has been Awesome!!

After a seminar in Ketchikan I will be making my way home to Northern Michigan, where they tell me autumn is starting to rear her gorgeous head. I love autumn, except for the end of the summer thing. As the ferns in the forest and the wildflowers start to shut down, the leaves kick into overdrive, and are they beautiful!

Reader's Hints, Tips and Techniques....

When buying fabric for a new quilt, be sure you buy a bit extra. Fabric designs are frequently changed and if your pattern directions didn't figure the right amount, you can find yourself in trouble in a hurry. Also allow plenty for the change in size i.e. full to queen size. The extra if you have any, can be used for shams, pillows or other accessories.....Joanne

Quilt apps for your iphone, ipad, and ipod. You can find them anywhere from free to 7.99. During a quick search I found at least 46 of them. From stash keeper tracker of, to quilt shop locator, quilting daily and quilt calculators. If you’re smart phone (or ipad) savvy, check them out, on itunes!

Kaye On TV....

We get a lot of phone calls and emails asking where to find Kaye on their TV. The simple answer is we don't know, (sorry). Here's what to do. Call your PBS, cable and satellite providers and ask them. If they don't show it, ask them to add it to their lineup. Our shows are called Kaye's Quilting Friends and Quilting The Kaye Wood Way.
