A Quilting Fiasco (Opportunity for Learning)

I just completed the front and back of a baby quilt.  They had been hanging on the design wall as I carefully measured to get my extra 6 inches all the way around for the quilter to work with.  I took it to the quilter, she looked at it briefly, and told me the backing was shorter than the front!  In admiring my handiwork, I hadn't put then evenly on the design wall.  A trip back home and an added strip taught a valuable lesson-measure twice!
