Musings of a crazy quilter
joined my quilt guild about one year ago because I wanted to be around real people who share my love of quilting and to learn from sources other than tv, books, and my computer; at that first meeting I
showed a couple of projects I had recently completed. Soon after, we
bought this fixer-upper house and I had to pack up my quilting "studio"
which remained in storage until just a couple of weeks ago. At tonight's
guild meeting, I was able to participate in the "show-and-tell" for the
first time since my first guild meeting. So exciting!
Isn't it fun when you can do show 'n tell? I don't know about you, but I love to show off!! My work that is!
Show & Tell is the best part of guild meetings.
Our guild seems big to me (usually around 50 members in attendance each month plus visitors) so getting to know everyone is challenging. Show-and-tell is great because we get to learn a bit about each person as they present their latest work. I agree, it is the best part of the meeting.
