Musings of a crazy quilter

Louisiana in teal

Here is a picture of the finished band-aid I created to hide the damage I did to the drywall in my bathroom/laundry room. I will sew the sleeve on tomorrow. For now I just pinned it to the wall so I could see what it looks like in its new home.

I like your 'fix.'  Great idea, I can think of a couple places I could use this idea in my home.

Thank you, Patti. Give it a try. It is the perfect excuse to work on new skills without the pressure to be perfect as you would with a project intended to be a gift.

To be honest with you, I had not thought to make such a small quilt to hang on the wall. I have seen people do it before, but in my mind I always pictured bed size quilts hanging there. I did a wall hanging years ago, but that was to fill a large empty spot in my dining room. This house is too small for such big works of art. Now that I have tried it, I suspect I will think of other quilted projects for my home.

Now I am working on some covers for my small appliances. I hate dust and with our home still under construction we have lots of it!
