I've (completed) 6 quilts in the 11 months I've been quilting and have 7 tops that are waiting to be sandwiched and finished!  Thanks to QCA, a lot of helpful members and craftsy I have been able to learn quilting on my own.

I have made just one quilt that was totally my own design.  I have completed 2 quilts for which my Granny had made the tops.  One was traditional just sandwich and quilt it; the other I made my own top for the back which made it (what I would consider) double sided.  Right now I'm making another of my own designs and I have plans to make 4 this year. This, all while working full time; remodeling a home; and being a host for cross-country touring bicyclists!  Staying busy keeps me happy.

Truthfully, it's hard for me to keep track of, because I give most of my quilts as gifts.  But, as I sit here counting through the quilts I have in the house (draped over furniture to be grabbed, or on beds) and I can count the gifts I can remember, I've done at least 20 quilts.  Now, here's the thing, though, I have another 15 in various states of progress stacked around my sewing/quilting area.  We won't even discuss how many I have the pattern and all the fabric sitting there ready and waiting.

Not sure since I've been quilting for a number of years.  But do know I finished eight quilts last year and have one done so far this year.  Hope to keep going and indulging my passion.

I have made eight quilts in the last eight years.  In addition, I have one on the long arm now that I am working on, and  two tops waiting their turn.  Plus, I have the material cut and one block together for an underground railroad quilt.  I better get busy!  :)

I have been quilting for a little over a year I have finished over 24 quilts, I have done totes and some shirts with applique.  I have about 6 quilts that in process either needing binding finishing quilt top and others just tops that need to be layered and just finished.  I will see another design or get more material and start something else.    Usually I get the top done and then start a new one.

I've been quilting a little over a year.  I have made 3 quilts and 4 wall hangings and one table topper.  But, I think I have started or bought fabric for 17 more!  I have quite a list to keep me busy and I love it!  Working on one strip sampler quilt for a class I am taking on Thursday; I am behind so I may stay up late tonight to try and get caught up.  I hope to complete quite a few this year.  I am learning so much and having a great time.

Oh my goodness -  they are hard to count -  have been quilting for about 7 years now - and know for sure i've made one for each of my children and grandchildren - which would make 7 - several for gifts plus a quantity for charily as well -  and then like so many others have umpteen ufo's in my sewing room and at least 3 charily quilts there now for quilting.

I've been quilting for a number of years now, and always take a picture of them before they are given to family or friends.  My most recent quilt this year is a Quilt of Valor made from a Fons and Porter pattern that I saw them do on a show and liked.  Our local quilt shop quilts QOV's for free, which is very nice.

That makes four this year so far and I have one up on the design wall for my grandson; and a wedding gift quilt cut and ready to go. There are so many interesting patterns to try.  I want to do one for Project Linus next.

I started quilting 2 years ago.  I've made 7 quilts and 2 table runners that I can remember and three more tops waiting to be sandwiched and quilted. I've also made a couple of mini quilts. It's been fun.  But the most fun is meeting other quilters and making friends.

Wow! What a question! I have been quilting for over 25 years and could not tell you an exact number of quilts I'm made.  I really wish I had kept track of them.  I know that I have made 5 large quilts and 4 baby quilts in the last year.  I love piecing quilt tops and generally have the large tops quilted by a long arm quilter and do the smaller quilts and baby quilts myself on my machine.

I've made 6 bed quilts, 9 lap/throw quilts, 4 doggie quilts out of leftovers, one wallhanging of my house, & several table toppers. (machine quilted)

I have 1 bed quilt & 1 throw quilt in the process of being hand quilted, and one completed pieced top for another bed quilt.  I have just started to piece blocks for a quilt-as-you go bed quilt I can take on vacation!

I am asked that question frequently. I took a quilting class a year ago, and I was hooked ! I made 5 bed quilts for Christmas gifts  that year. So far this year, I've made 2 table runners, 2 wall hangings, 3 bed quilts, 2 baby quilts, and 10 quilted tote bags. Whew !  Of course I have several UFO's, but I'm not sure how many more will get finished before THIS Christmas. I feel the need to add that while I do my own quilting on the small projects, all the bed quilts are sent out to a friend with a long-armer . I do all my own binding, tho.

I have only completed one quilt and that was several years ago. This past year I have spent taking online training classes. I listen to them overand over so I can feel comfortable. I have now completed the top of a large tshirt quilt.  I am doing the  back of the quilt by doing squares of some of my favorite lessons.  This quilt is my true training and test of all I have learned.  I will have a two sided quilt to give to my daughter as a memory of her martial art competing years as well as a second side to show her that Iam surviving the empty nest years.  I love reading everyone's stories. Keep them coming.

I have lost count. I have been sewing for over  60 years and quilting for 25. I now take pictures and make comments and keep pieces of fabric to help remember them because many are given away.I have about 20 in various stages. And more fabric than I can use in a hundred years. I know I am not alone in that , it seems to be a natural trait of quilters. I am also teaching some friends to keep the tradition going.

I believe my first quilt was in the 80's and it was a log cabin that had 15" backing and batting squares and the strips were sewn on to sandwich each square and then the squares were sewn together.  I was imediately hooked!  Since that time, I've made over 100 quilts from crib to super king.  I have my own quilting machine now, and I really can go to town.  A word from someone who didn't...log all your  quilts!  there's no way I will ever know the actual count of all the quilts I've made for myself and others.  If I live to be 150 years old, I'll always be in the learning stages.  That's why I am always reading books and magazines for new ideas.

I've been making quilts for 12 years.  I've made 35 quilts.  I make mostly Art Quilts or quilted clothing.  I just started a "Cityscape" challenge for a contemporary group I'm in.   I have fabric for a Paula Nadelstern "Snowflake" quilt, which will qualify for another challenge from the President of my quilt guild.  Then five more challenges to finish out the year from my contemporary group.

I've been quilting since 1994; I really don't know how many I've made. I know that I have enough to change all the wallhangings in my home for each season; every bed has a quilt on it as well. That's not including the ones I've given away to my friends' kids having kids.

I have been quilting for 12 years. I work two jobs, and had to cut back on my quilting while I went back to school to get my doctorate, but I have never stopped quilting all together. I do not know how many quilts I have made, for I have given away all but one. However, I have photgraphed them all, so now that I am done with school, I will have to go back and count, then start that quilt journal!

I'm a typical quilter, I guess, cause I don't count my quilts.  Some years are more productive than others.  I've been quilting for over 25 years.  My average could be about 2-3 quilts a year, so about 50-75 quilts or quilted items.  I do have many quilt tops that are unquilted and others that are at various stages of completion (quilter's ADD).  I can say with certainty that I am having a wonderful time!

One 30" wall hanging, umpteen potholders, 2 other wall hangings for gifts, all machine quilted.  My first bed-size hand-quilted quilt will be finished this week.  One top on the design wall, one set of blocks in the project box, one cut up but not sewn, and a gazillion designs in my head.  All in 3 years.

Hmmm, hard to keep track but I'd say around 8-10.  That doesn't count the numerous UFO's.  A goal I have is to complete all my UFO's before buying anymore fabric or patterns.  We'll see how that works out.  South Jersey Shop Hop is coming up in a couple weeks.  That will be a true test.  :)  Happy Quilting all........

Too many to count.  Each daughter has one, each grandchild also.  My husband guilt tripped me a few years ago to finally get one on our bed.  The first one I started in 1976 is still not together, It was a girl scout project.  I've finished 12 tops already this year 2013 for Rainbow Hospice after my husband passed away last year.  At least 25 full quilts and an estimate of over 150 other quilt sizes.  Large blocks to 1/4 inch Grandmothers flower garden blocks, love them all.

I have made eight quilts.  The first was for a friend's baby.  It was a baby blocks quilt crib size. It took so long to complete that I had to add several borders and turn it into a queen size quilt.

The second quilt was for a local community center.  It measured 7 ft. by 9 ft. and was made from all of the t-shirts that were designed for the first 20 years of ethnic festivals that the center sponsored.  I had no idea what I was getting into but it turned out beautifully.  It hangs in the community center.  The last six quilts were miniature quilts that were small versions of my favorite quilts that my mother-in-law made.  She was a great quilter and a great lady.  The miniature quilts were used to line the sides, top, and bottom of the box that we buried her ashes in.  The miniature quilts were made with scraps leftover from the original quilts and were made in three frantic days.  They were not simple.  One quilt had 70 pieces in it.  But they were a work of love and a help in healing my grief.

I recently retired and am looking forward to making many more beautiful quilts - some with her stash.

I am making my very first REAL quilt.  I have made tied blankets before, but I was inspired by all the new tools and the availability of on line tutorials and classes during this recent past fall and winter.  My mother was a quilter (hand quilter) and I always thought I would enjoy quilting, but when I would get started, it seemed overwhelming.  Maybe my age (79 next month) and downsizing some of my other activities has made this the right time for me to get started.  I was able to re-organize my sewing room last summer and setting up both of my machines really motivated me to get started on projects. I decided to make a simple quilt and inexpensive, for my first one.  I cut 81 blocks out of denim jeans, seven inches square.  I used a light blue and white gingham woven sheet for the short sashing pieces, 2 !/2 inches by 7 inches, and for the long strips between the rows.  I now have all the blocks and sashing stitched together and ready to make the 'sandwich'.  I am using a muted navy blue and white striped sheet for the quilt backing.  It is for my son, so I want it  to look masculine and usable.  I have been practicing the machine quilting designs on small pieces like pieced potholders and pieced tray 'rugs' for my kitchen.  The quilting pattern I finally selected for the quilt is my own design:  two fish swimming in opposite directions on each quilt block, assorted sized circles to resemble pebbles on the short sashing and back and forth stitching on the long sashing to resemble flowing water.

I started quilten panels  for 10 pillows. The panels I got came from a quiltstore near Woodstock Ontario Canada. Then I made 2 play quilts for our grandchildren.Blocks and quilting by hand.

After that I made 4 placemats for our home. And 6 placemats for my sister as a birthday gift. the blocks are made bij hand also the quilting.

I bought fabric for a big playquilt in Woodstock Ontario and I stil have to quilt that one, it's waiting for me. In between I made some small work, an Elefant , a Butterfly + stichery, Sashiko workshop, Roses quilt.  An table runner for our livingroom table. A table runner for our coffee table.  And again all by hand.

Now I'm working on a quilt for my nice and I'm putting the top together. All the work on the quilts , every block I did is made by hand. No patterns from the store, All is done by myself.

I am living in Ede Gelderland , Nederland.

And I wish I started years and years ago!

Oh my goodness, I have been quilting for 30 years and have no doubt done at least 50 or more and if you count the wee ones add another 50... I do lots for community and needy organizations...  also quilt many small table covers, etc.  Sooo much fun, hope I can continue for another many years.

I have completed 31 quilts, most of which are double size or larger. Only three were sent out to a long arm quilter, the rest I quilted my self (mainly because I lack the money to send them all out for custom quilting.) Four of the quilts have extensive hand beading. I am afraid to count how many quilt tops are pieced and waiting in my UFO pile waiting to be quilted.

I've made way too many quilts to count, of all sizes over the 40+ years I've been playing at this.  Most of them I've given away, I've only got 4 or 5 in my house for personal use.  I decided years ago that if I planned to finish them then I was going to have to pay a long arm quilter to do that part of it.  Can be expensive, but in the long run it's good value....at least I know they're completed and I can start on another project.

I have a UFO pile too, but doesn't everyone?

I have made seven of various sizes. One was a baby quilt, two are king size and all of the others are twin size. I started five years ago with one, made another four years ago and the rest have been completed within the last two years. I quilt them using my sewing machine and used a method of rolling the larger quilts until I tried quilt-as-you-go. I am working on learning free-motion quilting now. It is all a progression of improving my skills. I try to learn something new with each quilt.

8 quilts in 16 months.  I am finishing one for my oldest son and his wonderful wife now. This is the first time trying to quilt with my sewing machine.  This one is a King.  I love quilting with my friends. We get the kids helping design quilts with us. Then we are off working on the different quilts.  Sometimes we are using the same pattern but making our own quilts all in my living room.

this month I have made5 quilts and just finished the 5th.  I have now started ont he next one I have to do.

You see I have 5 children and they all have children and now the grandchildren are having babies so it keeps me busy sewing.  I have learned how much I enjoy making things for the children and my friends I used to work with.  Now that I have retired I keep busy especially in the winter sewing.  I am fairly new at this and am learning new things all the time.  I buy the magizines from Fons and Porter and Mc Calls and just love some of their ideas and from the guild I belong to I am learning even more. Each has been a learning experience since I need to improvise some and others I just use my imagination to put panels together. Example...my sisters gave me embreoidered blocks that I need to size and decide on a block to compliment hers. But I enjoy it all!

I don't have any idea of the total but it is a lot over 60+ years.  I've made all sizes from king on down plus decor items and clothing.  The last few years, since I retired, I have donated almost all I make. Most are baby to twin size. I did do some for family last year in addition to the donations.  I've done a few for gifts so far this year in addition to the donation quilts.  The rest I do this year will more than likely all be donations.  I am working thru my resource center.  My plan is to use  as much as possible in each quilt without buying more fabric.  I'm doing fairly well with that. lol

I have made about 40 quilts since 2007.  I have been sewing for over 50 years and never believed that I would want to sew all those little pieces together! In  2005 I had a brain tumor removed and had to learn to write left handed and speak and generally how to start over.  I was so frustrated because sewing a straight line was very difficult.  I couldn't hold on to the fabric.  Over time I kept trying on small pieces of fabric-needless to say I found quilting!  Quilting became my rehab!  My first quilts are pretty rough, but I treasure them because they show how much I have improved physically!  Now quilting is my passion!  I have given all but a couple of quilts away-and that is my joy!

I also have 6 quilts in progress and 5 waiting in the wings.  Keep finding more and more I want to do.  I  have changed the count on completed quilts 4 times as I keep thinking of others I have done.  So time to leave and get to work on one or the other of the quilts in progress.

I have made about 30 quilts approximately since I started quilting. Most of the quilts were gifts for family members. Many more have been made for charity or thank you gifts. I have participated as leader for charity quilts with my guild, Northern Lights Quilt Guild Fort McMurray Alberta Canada. As a group working together we have donated numerous quilts, wall hangings, placemats and table runners for for various groups within our community. A quilt member's son was being deployed to Afghanistan; she noticed many wives pregnant. Her idea was to make a baby quilt for each of them as appreciation for their sacrifices, this was one of my favourite quilts. I have made many blocks for our soldiers injuried while deployed ( Quilt of Valour). A quilt given is a gift made with LOVE

I just started quilting about a year ago. I have made 3 quilts, a wall hanging, and lots of table runners, bags, placemats.   I am a self taught kind of person.  I make stained glass pet portraits so my second quilt I wantd to do a quilt pet portrait.  I thought qulting is somewhat simialr to stained glass, color, piecing, building a puzzle and putting it together.    I made a pet portrait of a dog named Cody who is a good friend of mine.  It turned out really nice.  I made it from a photo I took of the dog and made a 16 block, 12" sqaures , each square different colors for his portrait.  I love quilting and have to admit I have become a bit addictive to it.

While I've been sewing since 7th grade it wasn't until 1971 in college that I made my first two quilts for friends getting married (if you call batted, backed and tied-- quilted :-)) After that it was sewing clothes, household items, and wedding attire until my oldest daughter announced she was carrying my first grandchild. Grandmothers quilt I decided, so I figured I better learn how to do it. Since then...oh my -  6 grandchildren quilts with 3 more in progress, a king-size memory quilt for my dear MIL for her 75th birthday, then I got a little crazy. One year I did 6 king-sized and numerous smaller projects. I've done quilted clothes, tablerunners, placemats, wallhangings, totes, purses, and many others -- too many to count!  Meanwhile I have been undergoing surgeries and hospitalizations every year since 2006. The last one in 2012 was the worst, though. I had both knees replaced and was only allowed to sit for 20-30 minutes at  several times a day. I learned to eat in bed with my legs elevated and used my sitting time in my sewing room!!  It was my best medicine!

It's really hard for me to keep track, because I give away most of my quilts as gifts.  But, as I can  remember, I've done at least 22 quilts, (one was a "Qiilt of Valor").  Although, I have another 15 in various stages of progress stacked in clear plastic shoe storage bowes in my sewing room.  We won't even discuss how many I have the pattern and all the fabric sitting there ready and waiting. By the way, I am fairly new to quilting, I just started 4 years ago.
