It would look like the one I have cut out but can't seem to find time to get to. Thimbleberries Pansy Garden in pinks, greens, purples, golds. I love pansies because it's in the viola family which is my birth flower in February. The colors are the colors in the border in my bedroom which of course are pansies with petunias. My bedroom is painted sage green and amthyst (my birth stone). It is a very relaxing, restful room. The Thimbleberries Pansy Garden quilt is a very relaxing, restful quilt and I'd like to find time to get it done. However I'm working on a quilt donation of 12 quilts to a retreat center in AZ that helps ministers, their spouses, and military chaplains. People don't realize they need help too. So it is my pleasure to donate these quilts to this retreat center. God's work comes first.

Mine would be a scrap quilt with a lot of different colors, styles of fabric and a bit unorganized.  Large, soft and a bit worn and with some repairs but warm and cuddly.

every shade of blue with a shot of magenta for an accent; all straight lines (no appliqué); could be either scrappy or planned!

Mine would probably be mostly blues and greens and lots of stars.

As an artist I am drawn to batiks with their moody colors and surprising imagery. I would have to be a simple quilt but with contrast.  Something like Lavender Fields by Quiltmaker but done in batiks of mixed blues, teals and greens with just a smidge of coral or lemon for pop.  The quilting itself would definitely be modern.  Large spaces with free but simple stitching so as not to detract from the "take me, squish me, squeeze me" batiks!

My quilt would be a crazy patch using silk, velveteen, specialty fabrics, and of course quilting cotton.  I am a hand and machine embroiderer, beader, and a bobbin and tatting lacemaker.  So my quilt would be embelished to the max.  No specific pattern or direction.  I'm not an organized person.  But I love the best things in life, which includes having a large variety of threads, yarns, beads and lace to "pile on."  As my husband always said, if there is a flat surface in the house, I stack something on it.  Usually the latest books, fabrics, patterns, and projects from classes; yet to be finished.  In fact, the crazy quilt probably wouldn't quite be finished.

I would be a crazy quilt.  A little bit "looney-tunes" with all colors represented, but heavy on the brights.  And then all tied together with a dark, simple sashing and border.

My personality quilt would be a Log Cabin and would do it in prints in the colors of orchid and lilac, my 2 most favorite colors, then border in black.

My quilt would be very soft pastels in green, yellow, pink and maybe some blue.  It would be feminine, soft, warm and inviting.  Probably done in different size squares or rectangles.  Must also be cuddly.

If I could actually make one, it would be a scenic quilt with snow, woods, deer, moose and a deep blue-purple sky, White birch trees, and a cabin in the woods.  It would be used to cuddle up in the winter.

Mine would be a Dresden of blues, purples, with some yellow and greens tossed in!!

My personality quilt would have very bright, wild colors with solid contrasting colors in abstract shapes. The batting would be a natural, soft cotton making the quilt very cuddly.

Mine is a quilt hornering my family, center with our house, next panel with 5 houses of each of our children, next panel hand prints of grandchildren, borders of hand turned applicate game & song birds.

As we love wild life and nature. Spent 3 yrs making it. Now I get to add hand prints for 2new great grand babies

My quilt would be imperfect for I have yet to perfect any one technique. It would be well-organized, because I am not. It would be sweet and bold and very, very pretty. I strive for these concepts but do not expect to reach my goals. But, I keep my spirit alive by having my goals and working toward them.

My favorite colors are reds and blues and tans. I completed a quilt called Points of Pride which was paper pieced and I used Moda's Old Glory Gatherings fabric collection. It is my favorite, so far.

An assortment of finely stitched redwork blocks, pieced together with an assortment of coordinating fabrics in a symmetrical layout. The quilt would be finished with small, even hand quilting stitches.

My personality quilt would be a traditional looking quilt with lots of details and precision using fabrics that reflect my country, folksy side.

I would likely be a brightly colored batik quilt- in a Jinny Beyer pattern!

I am working on one right now.  It is cut and needs to be pieced.  The pattern is Underground Railroad sampler.  There are 15 different blocks that were believed to be used as code quilts to guide slaves to freedom.  I have never had so much fun cutting the material as I did for this quilt.  The colors are red, green, brown, and blue, ranging from medium to dark, 13 colors in all.  In addition a beige background in 4 different shades light to dark.  I did not buy any new fabric.  I attacked my stash!  So, if I did not have enough medium brown, I found another piece of fabric very close in color to finish the cuts for that color.  Needless to say, it will truly be a very scrappy quilt.  I cannot wait to see it when it is all done.  I will be sure to post it when finished.  Stay tuned!

A quilt that represented myself would be unique and not afraid to march to the beat of a different drummer. It would be strong, with a sense of contained energy, intense, but subtle, with many interlocking layers that take attention and close study to appreciate. It would be a large color washed bargello made with at least 24 different fabrics, most fabric having multiple colors in them, with all the values from light to dark, different scales, and different styles, all harmonizing together so that the whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

My personality quilt would probably have a Ricky Tims Convergence quilt as a base with hot bright African colours merging into tropical blues and greens.I am a Pisces  so I like lots of twists and turns, as well as contrasts. I always have several things I am working on at once. I love applique so it would have lots of applique on it, and loads of texture quilted into it for visual interest, and a crazy different binding.

My quilt would have happy, cheery colors....prints & solids....not sure a pattern....love Log Cabins...and Bear Paws.  Everything would blend nicely, tho maybe in a crazy quiltish way. It would be soft & cuddly of course....and sparkly!  :)  

my quilt would be a new york beauty done in a black background and neon brights...quilted in an all over swirl pattern with bright varigated thread, at least that's how I feel today =)

I love the batiks --so that is what i would use in my quilt. I like the bright colors , mixed with an off white or light tan, possibly a pale green, for a background. And as a nature lover, I would probably use small blocks of animals in it also.As far as the block goes--I like the traditional blocks--but I may just get carried away and do something completely unexpected too.

It would look like appliqued kittens running around with paintbrushes in their mouths painting quilt blocks of various colors and shapes on to the background..

My personality?  Lots of deep rich jewel colors, and a mariner's compass medallion at the heart of it... reaching in every direction possible without limits.  It looks prickly at first glance, but when stitched with soft and high loft batting, it's really soft and warm and comforting

My quilt would be a king size mariner's compass. Lots of greens, reds, golds and tans.  Large, soft and somewhat worn, with a few repairs but warm and cuddly for grandsons to hold.

My quilt would be a combination of traditional blocks and applique. I like to create a traditional center with appliqued borders using all in the beautiful floral fabrics that are availabe today.

My quilt would be a scrappy quilt, so I could have all kinds of color, designs. But then again, I do a lot of charity quilting so it could be large blocks in an easy pattern such as pinwheel. Like the 12" blocks of two shades of pinwheel that I just finished! Maybe I haven't gotten "a quilt personality" yet. LOL

My personality quilt would have to be primary colors - bright, true and real.  It would have a story to tell and be completely original.  Lots of love, hugs and kisses reflecting family values and my love for animals, nature and nurturing.

My quilt would probably be a sampler quilt, althought I have made quilts that aren't "sampler".  I like to mix things up, but I'm sort of controling at the same time.  It takes me longer to choose the fabrics for a block than it does to make said block.  Most of my quilts are made from stash so I go through them several times looking for just the right fabrics for each block.  Sometimes I end up buying a few pieces to have just the right fabrics.  Of course I have other projects going while I'm waiting for the right fabrics to show up.  

My quilt would be a shoo-fly pattern using 30's or 40's prints.  Reminds my of my grandmother's aprons that she wore around the house.  The smell of fresh bread and the sound of her treadle sewing machine!

Mine would be a slightly modern pattern with 50's fabrics, like my mom used to make for my school dresses in kindergarten.  It would have some broken threads, but reinforced by repaired areas.  It would be soft, cuddly and warm, with enough room for everyone to snuggle under.  Thanks for the opportunity.

My personality quilt would feature lots of red and blue fabric. The pattern would include stars and log cabins. I especially like the feel of flannel - soft and cuddly.

My personality is old school so my quilt will be traditional all the way using quality quilting fabrics in natures colors. Hopefully, my points will all be showing and my free-motion quilting flowing nicely. If not, well.....I still had fun!

My quilt would have many bright colored batiks because I like to think of myself as bright and cheery. It would be mostly perfectly pieced with some slight imperfections, hopefully not noticeable. It would have a lot of straight lines because I'm told I'm rigid and very determined. It would be warm and soft to the touch and when wrapped around someone it would give the feeling of being loved and secure.

I do not like this pattern. I like old fashion quilting patterns.

My personality quilt would definitely have shades of bright blues as main color and would be something that I created from memories of past times . It would be a pictorial art quilt.

My personality quilt would be a crazy patch quilt made of scraps of fabric from previous sewing projects. The decorative stitching ties the fabric together to a whole quilt and adds beauty to what appear to be randomness.

My ideal quilt (for me, personally) would be a lap-quilted (by hand) sampler quilt in my favorite batiks, perhaps with a medallionthrown in...queen sized of course.  That is what I pray to have time to do this year, and to complete it, the good Lord willing.

It would be a crazy quilt!  My life is crazy, looking after my 3 growing boys, 14, 8, and 3.  Plus my husband is an aspiring rockstar, and I'm trying to work on my quilt pattern business, Curlicue Creations.  It's a lot to handle.  Have a super day!

Small scrappy pieces, some not the best quality fabric, some very high quality, hand stitched together, arranged with care and framed with embroidered embellishments symbolizing the ups and downs in life and all the "scrappy stuff" that has made my life beautiful.

My personality quilt would be Victorian.  It would have muted Mauves, greens, browns and, cream.  It would have traditional quilt blocks and be hand pieced and hand quilted.  It would have a bold floral print, and of course a paisley print.  It would sit on the front porch swing with a book atop it.

The "Basket Weave of Memories" quilt I posted is me all over!  Both warm and cool colors, bright and bold spanning the rainbow, catching your eye and bordered in black.  A great personality according to family and friends, with a bit of orneriness that sets off all the best.

It would be in greens and blues with fish and turtles and dragonflies and pond lilies.  Maybe even some frogs and bees and fireflies.  Moon lit sky.....

My quilt would look like the Colorado mountains.  It would be appliqued with lots of greens browns, reds, and of course white for snow.

Hoffman Bali Pop Batiks expresses my vibrant, colorful personality.  Shades of reds for energy, shades of blues for all the mornings I am blessed with to wakeup to each day, and all the shades of yellow for the bright smiles and laughter I enjoy.  With white blended with these primary colors give the the shades of purples, teals, and pinks which are just gifts of the color wheel which I just love in a "Summer in the Park" quilt.

My personality quilt would be calming, refreshing, timeless in colors of boldness. Boldness is the early morning, just as the sun is coming up to great us all, resonating in colors of yellow with the brightness of shades of white. I would add colors of a compliment such as different shades of greens and blues found here in the great Northwest.

My Quilt would be a traditional Baltimore Album with all the colors of the rainbow .  I love that pattern just haven't got around to making what I would call my lifetime achievement quilt.  Some day I'll get started on that very special quilt with all its beauty.

I love whimsical motifs and bright cheery fabrics.  

My personality quilt would be a gratitude quilt - one block for each of the many blessings I've had in my 6 decade of life. Nature, family, grandchildren, love, gardening, my four legged furry babies, artistic talent and last but not least my passion for quilting which connects my soul to God.

I'm a packrat---have quite an assorted stash/new & old. Genealogy is another passion---sentimental about people/places/things. My favorite Christmas tree is one decorated with memory items:  little trains/Grandpa worked for the railroad; old collars from pets; photo ornament of daughter, Emily,age 2 from vacation bible school; her 1st ornament from Granny & Pa; handmade items from friends & family; tiny hand-woven basket from Charleston, SC---visited on our honeymoon & later our daughter's honeymoon choice; ornaments from The Citadel/Charleston, my husband's alma mater; and others. NOW, if I can figure out a way to put all this, etc. into a quilt, then we might figure out my personality. Good Luck w/that---I haven't figured myself out yet! Thanks for the chance to analyze. My quilt would be double-sided, no plain backing......one side would be something exploding with cheeriness, the other side country warm!

My personality quilt would be traditional with subdued colors.

My quilt would be a landscape quilt with  big, luscious, purple grapes hanging from a vine and a tranquil mountain and stream background . This represents what I want to be... the good fruit, with Jesus as the vine... resting in His peace.

My quilt would have fall colors, rusts, browns, yellows, and earth tones, a log cabin quilt with leaves appliqued either on the blocks or around the border.

My quilt will have large block prints of my favorite things - flowers, birds, cats, horses - and lots of greens and blues and calming colors - a 'serenity' quilt to comfort me when the world around me gets too cold.

It would be a traditional sampler quilt with ORANGE in each block. A Dresden plate with an Orange center. A Sawtooth star with a couple of orange points.. The rest of the colors would be dark on an Off white background. Lots of Greys, Browns, Blues, and Greens... Lots of Muted beautiful colors along with a disturbing and hilarious POP OF BRIGHT ORANGE everywhere!! :)

I'd like to do a crazy quilt, but using pieces of old jeans rather than silks or velvets.  Maybe I would add some of the fancy stitches on my sewing machine to embelish it.  The back I would use darks reds in a large patchwork pattern...warm and relaxing!

Mine would be a scrappy pineapple---many fabrics but only one or two pieces of the same fabric, yet an organized pattern.  My husband says I am 'organized chaos'.

My quilt wouls be made up of old time patterns, very retro looking and would defintiely have purple as a dominat color way.

I'm in love with scrap and civil war era fabrics, I would love to start and finish the Tavern Blue Quilt which is made up of civil war fabrics.

My personality quilt would be a STAR quilt.  The fabric I would use is a Batik with the STARS made in shades of blue, green, purple and teal.    The background would in a complimentary shade to made the STARS pop and appear to be floating in the sky.

It would have to be soft and cuddly and show examples of years of memories both good and bad.

My personality quilt would be an Art Deco look with blacks and reds.

My quilt would be deep jewel colored batiks, small squares to indicate all the places i have been. Maybe an around the world pattern. And somewhat myterious mix of colors with high loft in the batting

Since I am Bi-Polar mine would be a WIDE array of colors.  The outside edges would be bright to represent the smile that I wear to make people think all is well.  The center will use darker colors to show depression.  Then the area between would be a mixture of scrappy color/shapes, as my life is utter chaos most of the time.  And in the VERY center block would be a cross that represents Jesus is the center of my life the only reason I can keep it together during the good and bad.

I have a duo personality and love pretty and romantic, which would be for me a crazy quilt of beautiful elegant fabric and flowing colors, embellishments of laces, pictures, ribbons and embroidery.  On the other hand, I love a challenge and have to challenge myself continually which would also include the Mariners compass in great detail and many points.  It would also have to have vibrant colors and shades of the colors or the Kaleidoscope quilts. All this makes me feel like dancing and winning the prize. Of course I would only win a blue ribbon from my Grandchildren as they are my fondest admirers.

Mine would have  to be an optical illusion creating a three demential look with several medium to deep passionate reds, oranges and blacks.  Very dramatic, mysterious, rich, and deeply romantic. And maybe an element of surprise  for the fun loving, teasing side of me.

I think mine would somehow have to incorporate a subdued, friendly, but solitary quietness along with a blend of interesting textures and versatility. I really define myself on my crafting aptitudes, which range all over the place from quilting to knitting, crochet, and jewelry. An eclectic quilt where nothing really seems to match, but somehow it all comes together and makes sense.

My quilts would be colorful, carefully put together with a great deal of thought.

My quilt would be in soft yellows and reds. The squares would be different patterns. Mostly small florals would be used, a nice cream for the solid fabric. The yellow would be soothing and the red would give the quilt some spice. Jean

My personality quilt would likely be a sampler quilt done in scraps with the background a dark true blue.  No two blocks the same.  There are just too many patterns, fabrics and crafts I want to try and I will never live long enough to try them all.  Or enough money to try them all, for that matter!!  But I will have fun trying.

Mine would look like a starburst or fireworks but would be all soft colors - pale yellow, pale soft green, cream, very light aqua - all restful and peaceful

My personality quilt would have a black background with the brightest colors, magenta, purple, aqua, in a star pattern. I love the drama of black or navy junctaposed with bright bright colors! Much like my life solid steady on the outside with flaming colors on the inside LOL!

it would look very eclectic.  i love the unusual.  there would be no quilt in the world that would resemble me or be able to copy me.  i would be like a monet.   lots of people wanting to copy the style and colors but can't quite figure out how.  

My quilt would be an original design starting with a fabric/fabrics from my stash.  I buy fabrics I like, then decide what to do with them.  I love a challenge and lots of mathematics, so I would design my quilt as I go working around the design in the fabric. I like to choose my own co-ordinates and colors. It would be eclectic.

LOL But I will be extremely proud as it will represent me!!

I think my personality quilt would be my own design and would have many different garden flowers in a lattice work setting - like the beautiful garden I always hope for and with all the color and sunshine anyone could want.  Something that would relax my soul and set me dreaming - of summer swings in the shade and grass under my feet.

I guess my personality quilt would be in line to be finished, cotton material because it is dependable and durable and wears.  Bright pastel colors I love stars but I would probably be circles as that is what life seems to be the past few years.  Soft to snuggle with my grandchildren and to be compassionate to others.  Or a beach scene since that is a dream for me and my husband some day to sit on a beach at sunset.

My personality quilt would be a wonky log cabin made with autumn colours to compliment my age and complection.  It would be made with durable cottons with a contemporary pieced backing, because my life seems to be a patchwork of odd pieces made to fit together.

My personality quilt would have to be a scrappy quilt, but in an organized way.  

I made my personality quilt. It hangs in my living room.  It started with 4" blocks of dull nondescript fabric. As I made it , I became more and more disgusted with the lack of color, so I split it with a large X in the center  used orange and yellow sunburst in the exposed center and added a butterfly!  I would love to send a picture!  I love color, color, color. Those 4" blocks were given to me by a friend who moved back to Michigan and had no room in her car for fabric.
