Breaking News: This just in ... you could win "Aurifil's Choice" Award!

Impressive poems about impressive threads

Has inspiration dancing in our heads.

Breaking News, this just in,

There's another collection for us to win!

Poems are great and fun to write

But there is so much at stake, we can't sleep at night

Time, pass quickly as we wait to hear

So we can get busy making quilts appear!

Countdown to sewing

It's frustrating not knowing

Which Aurfil Collection we'll win.

Our waiting and hoping will soon be over,

Every thought, anticipation, and poem,

Will not be forgotten, and the lucky winners will be known.

Don't forget the projects we pondered,

Let's not frown, be sad or dishearted,

For Aurifil Threads got our creative juices started.

We all must be gratefull and polite,

We were given a chance to win it for free

We all should thank them, for the wonderful opportrunity!

The spotlight truley is on Aurifil threads

Their wonderful quality, collections and colors.

They will make all of our creations, stand out from all the others.

Be happy in knowing as we are sewing,

Aurifil will be there to inspire and help us create

It is available at our quilting shops, We no longer need to wait.

My quilt, i had sat and begun

But a mishap had left me astun

My thread box did spill

Rolled fast down the hill

And into the lake it did run

Up on my feet, over the stool

Chasing those colorful, unruly spools

I dove in the deep

And sorely did weep

They'ld sunk in the muck of the pool.

Dripping and Squelching, I strode up until

I got the scene of that Horrible Spill

But to my surprise

And widening eyes

I found I had won Aurifil. (Heart be still)

It has been often said,

I'm obsessed with my thread.

It clings to my head,

It hides in our bed,

It fills up the shed,

And covers completely the family homestead.

My husband has pled,

And trampled and tred,

And threatened to shred,

Every  last  spool,  of my beautiful thread.

But, when it apeared in the bread,

"That's it !"  hubby said.

I earnestly plead,

And said, "Dear I dread,

the loss of my thread",

Oh, how my heart bled.

"Why don't you pack up

And get out, instead?"

I dread that this led

To our being unwed,

But at least, I can lie in

My bed made of thread.
