Prepare for cuteness overload

Meet Scrabble, Marianne's newest addition to her already busy household. Knowing Marianne and her husband Mark, we all agree that Scrabble is a very cute and suitable name (Marianne and Mark can often be seen playing the challenging word game at restaurants, airports, etc.). However, we are guessing that this adorable little pup, over time, will likely earn an assortment of other fun nicknames ... such as 'Foot warmer', which is typically soon followed by 'Toe biter', and then 'Sock and Shoe Eradicator'.  And, since puppies will be puppies, she'll also likely earn the title of  'Sacagapee'a' once or twice ... or thirty or so times. And it goes without saying, that eventually,  her name will be mud - puppies chew and gorgeous quilts are tasty temptations. But never fear, just look at that sweet puppy face - and then look at Marianne's. It's pretty obvious that regardless whatever trouble this little fluff-ball thinks up over time, she has already wiggled her way into the safe haven of Marianne's heart. And what do you bet that Marianne is already thinking about the perfect design for that first little puppy quilt? In fact, maybe we can help her out, if anyone has any good suggestions, jump right in - Scrabble needs a quilt of her own to nibble on before the name of the game changes from 'Scrabble' to 'Sorry!'

Scrabble is adorable and couldn't possibly chew up anything that isn't his.   Thanks for sharing such a sweet pic.

He looks like a happy little puppy. Hope she gives you many years of joy. We're going through puppyhood, too and loving it.

For Scrabble's quilt, I would suggest a bow-tie pattern (made to look like bones!) with some alphabet blocks strategically placed.

You can almost see the finished quilt already - and the blocks could spell out words like woof, wag, sit, etc.  Very fun. Thanks Vicki!

He's so cute, I want him.  What breed is he??  Purebred or All-American??  We need a cutie like him to keep us company down here in TN now that we're in our middle 70's.  Hope he brings you lots of love.....and stays away from your quilts, other than inspiring new patterns like puppy paws, etc.

Hi Peg, Scrabble is a Golden-Doodle. She is very smart and loves to play.
