It’s spring—well, at least it seems so in our Winterset
office. There are two reasons for this.
Reason one: We are having the most glorious fall. It’s been
sun-shiny and unseasonably warm for the past week. My kitties have enjoyed
watching the squirrels and birdies from the screened back porch, and I am
enjoying the fresh air that’s coming through the open windows. Seventy-something
degrees in November—I’ll take it.
Reason two: We are busily preparing the spring issue of Easy
Quilts (which will have approximately 18 great projects, including the one
shown here by Tammy Johnson of Joined at the Hip) and the March/April issue of
Love of Quilting. I’m excited about the new fabrics featured and the innovative
designs created by so many talented quiltmakers. My quilts-to-make list grows
longer every day. Yours will too when you see these issues!
