Des Moines Quilt Expo

I'm still floating from a "quilter's high" of the Quilt Expo held last week in Des Moines. With 1,000 quilts to inspire and over 200 vendors to tease, how could any quilter even think of missing one of the biggest quilting events of the year?!

To add to my excitement, one of my quilts was among the 500 quilts hung in the Des Moines Guild portion of the show. So, mark your calendars for October 6-9, 2010, and see what surprises Quilters Club of America will have for you at the next Quilt Expo in Des Moines.

But for now, at the Love of Quilting office, we're putting the final touches on the next issue of Easy Quilts due to be delivered mid-January.

Way to go Kris!

For those who don't know Kris, if you read Easy Quilts and Love of Quilting you know her through her writing. It''s so fun to visit the office in Des Moines and see what upcoming projects she has at her desk that she's wriring about for the magazines.

P.S. She's kitty lover too!
