Show and tell at Patches-n- peacemakers monthly meeting
I am far behind where I should be on posts Girls. Now that DH and I are better and things are getting back to normal, I thought I would get caught up on a few things.
I think that this group of quilts is actually from our December monthly meeting. The first four quilts are from our hand quilters. This is Jan and her daughter Dayna. They do all their work by hand.(piecing and quilting) However there has been a shift in the wind. Jan is learning free motion, and Dayna just bought her first long arm. Two of the quilts show off their handy work. They are not only very good at hand quilting, but as you can see They will quickly master their new skills as machine quilters. The Last two pictures of of two antique quilts that were found in the top of a closet when one of our ladies mother past away. They belonged to her mothers grandmother.
