Quilt retreat- in house
Hi ladies and Gents:
Wow!!! What an exciting two weeks. The first week was our shop hop. I bought lots of stuff. The second week has been our in house quilt retreat at our church. That is where we can take all our stuff and just leave it all week in our class room and come and sew, come and go as we please from 9:00A.M. to 9:00P.M Monday through Friday. A fun time was had by all. Here are the projects that we worked on enjoy.
These two pic are of the class room. Yes we know how to spread out and make a mess
as a group we exchanged Christmas fabrics in 21/2 " strips for 6 months. the object was to make the strip quilts.

I bought a package of scraps and a panel on the shop hop and decided to play with the fabric. this is what I have so far
one of our ladies made this quilt for the custodian at the church that sets up our room for us each Tuesday
This a a quilt made by one of our newer members. its her first major accomplishment. Isn't she going to be a great quilter.
One of our ladies moved to Alaska a few years back and it just so happened that she was in town for a while.
So brought my extra sewing machine and she quilted with us for the week here is what she worked on.
