The Quilted Teacup

A quilters journey
Too many UFO's

Can you say too many UFO's?
I am in the process of packing up my studio for a major remodel.
I found this stack of UFO's. (Unfinished Objects)There are a total of 13 quilts that I have stared in that stack. I probably have enough work there to last me two years.

  1. Baby quilt for my cousins baby who is now 2
  2. block of the month quilt top (working on a paper piece border to put on it.)
  3. Three stack -n-wack quilts
  4. La Moyne Star quilt
  5. My sons Bed Quilt
  6. My other sons Bed Quilt
  7. Two wall hangings
  8. The biggest container holds enough material to make three picnic quilts.

try trading with a fellow quilter who has the same skill level as you do.  You will feel more obligated to finish for her and she will feel obligated to do yours.  It always seems that we put our family and especially ourselves last, so it only makes sense.  I used this trick with my dear friend when our kids were growing to get our mending chores done before our kids outgrew them.  Besides, it was a good excuse to lock ourselves into the sewing room together for some quiet "ME" time.
