Wow! I guess I didn't know what was coming, when I made the comment about life being life!
Last week, my husband decided to get some exercise. He began walking down the road, got about 200 feet, and began having severe chest pains. I, of course, was at the store getting milk and a few other things. So, Thank God he had his cell phone with him.
He noticed that when he stood still, the pain eased up a little. He had taken 3 baby aspirins and a blood pressure pill. By the time I made it home, he was sitting down and not in as much pain, but we decided to get him checked out to be safe.
The Doctor decided to do a heart cath and found an artery 99% blocked! He immediately inserted a stent into the artery! The doc said it was the longest stent he has ever put in...and he has done over 5000 heart caths! The Heart and Vascular wing of the hospital is named after him lol.
So anyway...we are home, he is feeling better, and we are so blessed to have family and friends who love us and pray! And...we do have the ultimate healer on our side :)
I hope to get started on the directions today. And please forgive me if my blog ends up a little wonky (lol) this is my first blog, so i am learning as I go.
Thanks and Blessings to you all!
I think the selvage edges make a cute, scrappy look to a block. Let's see...I'll use some of these...
And some of these...
A few blocks with fusible batting...
And we will see how it turns out!
I will post step by step directions as I go...
Hello! I just wanted to let you know that I will be posting pictures and detailed directions as I go along. I want to make this a very user friendly project so that it will fit anyone's style. I also, will attempt to do this in a timely manner, but life being life may get in the way occasionally.
So again, welcome to my blog, Selvage Edge Quilt as you Go and Happy Quilting!
