Since she has been a pretty good girl I got to play the Gramma Card and we had ice cream for lunch but now we have to have a sandwich for dessert. Going to take some time now and get back to work on stuff that keeps calling my name and I keep trying to ignore but my projects are now screaming at me to get them done. Almost sounds like Larry the Cable Guy. I think that it is almost time to get the Christmas stuff out of the attic and start with the festivities. I am way behind it all of that and need to get on the ball. I think Sunday we shall decorate the house and tree. Got our new Christmas ornament for 2012 so I should be ready for all of this but the constant heat wave that is plaguing us has kind of put a damper on my Christmas spirits. I am glad that he is home, I hope that he doesn't have to go back, but I am saddened about the events that brought him home. Apparently, some guy broke into my daughter's house in an attempt to rape and worse two nights in a row. The rental company won't fix the house or repair the door that the guy kicked in. Luckily, she is trained by the Army and kicked him over the coffee table and would have done worse if he hadn't left. And she has an alarm system that helped to scare him off. So today, my house is empty because the Monkey Butt is with Mommy and Dad. I am able to get to work on some of my crafty things that need to get done and get my pumpkin cookies with dark chocolate chips baked.
