These machines are wonderful to use. You got a Good deal ... not only is your machine in good shape, but so is your Case! We had to replace a latch on mine. I was impressed to find both parts and general information on e-bay. This is the machine I take to demonstrate on at our once-a-year Guild Fair---and I smile at the number of men who stop by my booth just to look at my Featherweight! Happy Sewing!!It's a great way to start out a New Year! :o)

It's in real good condition. They are wonderful to have. I bought mine about a year ago. Congrats. A few years back I was also on a quest for one. I finally bought one from a women in my guild that collects and fixes them up. I love it. It is white (not black) but looks pretty much the same as yours. It was built in 1960 the year I was born. So I felt it was fate that I ended up with it. I have many more high tech machines, but that one is my favorite. It just looks so sweet. Have fun sewing.
