Dearest Nana really enhanced my featherweight bug by letting me use hers at the 2012 Leavenworth retreat. I have been bidding on eBay and searching craigslist and antique stores ever since I got home. My diligence finally paid off and I won an auction on eBay for $162, I was a bit scared as the seller was very clear that it did not make a stitch the feed dogs did not advance the fabric and it did not sit Square. I talked with a featherweight collector friend of mine and she assured me that the little machines were very easy to use and I would have no problem serving it myself. I ordered up some oil, lube, feet, a service manual and a book from featherweight 221.com. I am pleased to report that my new little machine now runs like a top! I cannot wait wait to take it to my Next Valley Bees sew day and brag on it. This was the best Christmas present I got and thanks to my hubby for not caring what I buy for myself. And here she is. This is really weird, as you can see this is asn aqpron I made for my sister. If you click on it the featherweight shows up. Not sure what is going on??????

Wow, it has been so long since I have done anything, can't remember the last time I felt we'll. I did FINALLY do some sewing today. I was at a loss what to make for my older sister, she is so hard to shop for. She has had two major kitchen accidents this year so as a little joke I made her this apron. Her kitchen has the orange in it so I can see it hanging from a hook in the kitchen. I will let you know what she thinks.
