I help the young daughter of a friend of mine. She made her first quilt when she was 12 (horses) and I shared my horse fabric with her that I had and she centered them and did a fantastic log cabin quilt. She had so many offers from people to purchase the quilt so she's well on her way to being a fantastic future fibre artist. I know she'll make it as she's that good. She's now 16 and is looking for ideas to make items for her local SPCA Christmas Fund Raising.

Last year I made a design for a holder so she could put dog biscuits into and then hang on the tree. She made them up and they sold like hot cakes. She was asked if she'd make them again this year. I thought of dog ties, dog stockings, fabric with animals on them to make 'Mug Rugs', reindeers from dog biscuits, etc but, if you have some ideas o share I'd love to hear them

Last year I gave her recipes for making dog, cat, bird and horse biscuits so she'll probably make them again.

She's an 'A' student in school and I love being her 'muise' with her projects. We email back and forth as we live about an 1 1/2 hours away from each other.

During summer I helped her with making cool scarves that she sells at the summer fund raiser.

Thanks for any help you come up with. It's great to be able to come here for help with ideas.

fun website

my friend on the other side of the country sent me this website and it's a fun site http://www.fatcatpatterns.com

They have the cutest Christmas and Halloween patterns on their site. Instructions also for you to make the little hangings

I love snowmen and have a huge collection that has a table all to itself during the holidays. My family laughs but, they keep sending me more for the collection

That's true love isn't it, feeding my addiction to snowmen. LOL

my first blog post

Wow hope this works.
