Mystery Quilt Time is Almost Here!

"Twinkle, twinkle little star
How I wonder what you are."

Could the same be said for Mystery Quilt #12, Starstruck? Don't you wonder what the quilt will look like in the end? Not to mention how everyone else's quilt will look as well?

Debi (the QCA member who designed Mystery Quilt 11) has created another beautiful quilt for our next mystery sew-a-long (and competition!). Check out Debi's blog and see a picture of the completed MQ11!

Please join us today in the QCA group, Mystery Quilt 12.

The first clue will be posted in the PAGES section of the group each Wednesday morning, before 8:00 AM CDT. A discussion thread will be opened for any questions that you might have for each step. In fact, after joining the group, you can check out the Pages section and get a glimpse at a few requirements for the quilt.

Steps will be posted April 20, 27, May 4, 11, 18, 25, June 1, 8 and 15.

Completed quilt TOPS should be posted in the group's Media section of the group by July 6. Then the voting will begin for the "Viewer's Choice Award." F+W Media and QCA have generously donated Cross and Crowns Quilt Kit and Backing - $219.98 value - for the winning quilter!

McCall's has posted the following about the quilt kit and backing:

Retro prints from the Hadley collection designed by Denyse Schmidt for FreeSpirit Fabrics add an eclectic vibe. This charming quilt has broad appeal, combining modern and traditional elements that complement nearly any decor. The quilt size 73-1/2" x 83 1/2". The kit includes fabric for the quilt top and binding plus the Cross & Crown pattern from the March/April 2015 issue of McCall's Quilting. The quilt backing fabric kit for Cross & Crown contains 5 3/8 yards of fabric.

Now doesn't that make you want to join us and win?

We hope to have you join the group by this Wednesday, April 20, but if you are a little late, you'll still be able to catch up. See you there! We are going to have lots of fun!
